Paula Ahlander works on implementing Nordlo's new brand and planning for the future with the aim of achieving #1 in both employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction. How do you live according to our values, can you give an example from the business?

1. Together

It is important that we all feel that we are in the job and the task together; everyone really supports each other, and a significant part of our success is our cohesion. We also try to do many things together even outside of work.

2. Heart

For me, it is important that we make decisions based on a development and business value perspective, but always with heart at the core. Our values are the foundation for our actions and decision-making.

We have a Well-Being-At-The-Office group that actively works for well-being and sustainability for our office and our staff. This can involve everything from activities and lectures to having created a small library at work.

3. Business Value

Being able to create business value for our customers is among the most important aspects of our delivery; it makes us relevant. We work daily to develop and improve our business and our operations, for our customers and for ourselves. This is work the entire office is involved in, and we continuously evaluate our work and how we can develop it.

Our values are the foundation for our actions and decision-making.

What makes Nordlo most attractive?

We are a values-driven company with a big heart and a passion for our customers. For us, it is important that it feels enjoyable to go to work. We want to create conditions for everyone to be their best self at work, (both personally and professionally), which also ensures that we can provide the best service and delivery. This makes us attractive, both as a supplier and as an employer.

What can we improve on at Nordlo?

A major task we have is to come together and find each other out in the country so that we can harness the full strength we now have together and create even greater value across the board for our customers. Partly through the increased specialist expertise that benefits us all, and also through the large geographical spread that we now have together.

What is priority on your agenda right now?

To ensure that our brand is out and presented in its proper form everywhere we are visible. Then I am planning for the future and the decisions we are facing there, all in order to achieve our goals of being #1 in employee satisfaction and #1 in customer satisfaction, along with the desired business objectives we have.

For us, it is important that it feels fun to go to work.

How would your colleagues describe you?

Well, one should really ask them, but I believe and hope they would describe me as action-oriented, considerate, structured, and goal-focused. At the same time, I think someone might say that I can come across as a bit chaotic on the surface; for example, my desk is often quite messy, but I explain that by saying that I have many balls in the air.
