At Nordlo, we want to have the most engaged employees you can find in IT and digitalisation. But how do we maintain engagement and remain competitive as an employer? Magnus Andersson, Service Delivery Manager at Nordlo in Skåne, shares what makes him thrive and how proximity to the customer distinguishes Nordlo from other companies.
Magnus Andersson, who was recruited along with a group of a total of four people in January 2023, comes most recently from another company in the IT sector where he worked on developing service delivery for enterprise clients. "We received an offer to come over as a group to develop our service delivery and build up Nordlo in the Skåne region. My mission is to create structure and processes around the delivery to effectively help the customer make data-driven decisions to develop their IT environment."
What attracted me to Nordlo was the opportunity to build something from the ground up. But also to get closer to the customer again, something Magnus thinks sets Nordlo apart from the competitors. "With the larger, more centralised IT providers, there is a risk of building services that miss the customers' operational needs. At Nordlo, we build teams that are close, where each person has some kind of relationship with the customer. This way, we can find flexible solutions that fit their needs perfectly. It’s simply pride in our work."
When asked how he would describe Nordlo as a workplace, and what sets us apart from our competitors, the answer is crystal clear: A lot of heart! “We care about each other. We are a team and everyone is very engaged. I have felt incredibly welcomed since I started. Moreover, there is a lot of talk about technology and delivering to the customer. It’s really fun to go to work these days.”

"In the phase I've entered, where we are building an organization with the ambition to grow here in the south, basically all doors are open. I only see opportunities. There is truly an entrepreneurial spirit at Nordlo. This, combined with technical strength and a group backing, is both exciting and unique. Anything can happen."
Nordlo is a decentralised organisation with offices across Sweden and in Norway. Decisions are made locally and the potential for development is great. "The advantages of a decentralised organisation are that the decision-making lines are short and decisions are made where they should be, that is, close to the customer. This allows for better adaptation to the customer's needs."
"The best thing is working with colleagues to drive projects with the goal of delivering high-quality services to our customers. Being able to help the customer navigate and find their way through the noise of everything happening in the IT market is what engages us and makes it enjoyable. There is a great sense of professional pride when we succeed, and we have our colleagues with us in both good times and bad. We support each other. It’s amazing."
