We had a chat with Anders Thomasson, who works as a Technical Account Manager and Service Delivery Manager with us at Nordlo.
As a Technical Account Manager, Anders works closely with the customer, Nordlo's sellers, and our consultants to ensure that the customer has the right solutions in place from a technical standpoint. "I work technically strategically so that the entire customer's IT environment is tailored from both a functional and security perspective. I ensure that the customer has the technical tools required to run their business simply," says Anders. The actual change work of configuring and installing is handled by Nordlo's knowledgeable technical consultants.
But Anders's responsibilities do not end with the delivery of the right solutions to the customer. As a Service Delivery Manager, he ensures that the delivery meets the requirements we have agreed upon with the customer. "It may involve us having demands to complete a project within a certain timeframe. To ensure delivery, I lead several different meeting forums, both with the customer and internally, to ensure and report how well we are meeting our goals." Even in this role, close collaboration with the customer, sellers, and other departments at Nordlo is important.
“We are a great bunch. There is a lot of freedom, and one works with personal responsibility. This gives you the opportunity to learn about everything from User-Centric IT to Security and risk management.”
But it is also important to feel challenged. That is when you develop – and deliver really good results. “We have goals to achieve and there is always a lot to do. It is important for me to feel challenged. This makes me work better and stay focused, which in turn leads to a good delivery to the customer.” Anders adds.
The work continues and Anders's focus moving forward is to further structure the work he does in his two roles to provide customers with even better service together with his colleagues. "It’s amazing to have so many knowledgeable colleagues around, and I feel proud to contribute to Nordlo's success."
