Fiskeby is a process industry for packaging cardboard that has high demands for a well-functioning IT environment with high redundancy. They require development, operations, and maintenance of a complete platform, including all hardware, that consolidates all critical functions in one place.
Due to its high demand, Fiskeby has production almost year-round, making it particularly important that the collection of production data operates as it should and that all systems communicating with each other can do so without interruption. To avoid the consequences of something going wrong on a machine, a robust IT environment is required.

With Nordlo's help, several projects were initiated to improve and streamline IT operations. Fiskeby's IT environment was updated with solutions such as Microsoft 365, which provided a new email system, new communication channels like Teams, and a new intranet via SharePoint to enhance the workday for employees. Nordlo also provides the hardware and maintenance needed to create the robust and scalable IT infrastructure required to meet Fiskeby's high standards.
An external IT manager was outsourced from Nordlo to Fiskeby to work strategically on roles, decisions, and budget. With an external IT manager, who also works in other companies, Fiskeby was able to leverage a broader range of experience and knowledge than they had previously accessed.
