Tell us about your role at Nordlo

When I started at Nordlo, I began with sales and then moved into some project management, but two years ago I took the opportunity to start as a productivity consultant - a new role that we launched together among the offices. I have been involved in shaping some of the frameworks we work with, which has made it even more enjoyable. In my role, I enjoy being in contact with both the users and the business they work in; by understanding both parts, I can perform at my best.

I work a lot with Microsoft 365 as there are many concrete ways for customers to get started, and many have yet to discover the opportunities that exist beyond the Office suite. We want to show that it doesn't have to be particularly complicated to make a big difference.

In my role, I enjoy being in contact with both the users and the business they work in; by understanding both parts, I can perform my best.

What does a typical working day look like for you?

Much of what I do is based on users discovering for themselves which opportunities suit their work and working methods. To find this, we first go through how they work today together and review if there is anything they find unnecessarily complicated or time-consuming. Based on this, I then put together a plan for how we at Nordlo can help increase productivity.

I spend a lot of time with clients where I usually sit with smaller groups trying out different scenarios under my guidance. In connection with this, questions and discussions often arise, which we address. This way, we ensure that the new information can be absorbed and that they can immediately begin to implement what they have learned in their daily work.

What is Nordlo like as a workplace?

We have high ceilings and are driven by helping our clients. We also have a lot of fun and care about each other. Here in Växjö, we have a boss who is good at coming up with activities we do together, the latest example being some colleagues who went up to Kebnekaise. The activities are not always as adventurous – we have also hiked in Österlen, cycled in Gotland, and sailed in the Gothenburg archipelago. These experiences give us important memories that we share and carry with us when we work together at home.

Nordlo is both large and small at the same time – we operate as a local IT company but have the opportunity to seek help from our colleagues in other offices, both in terms of experience and practically if a client is located elsewhere. This makes Nordlo an exciting and developing workplace.

What is most developmental at Nordlo?

I want the customer I work with to feel that I am there to help them specifically. When I hear that we have helped to increase productivity, improved communication, or created better order in the operation, I feel happy and get an extra boost of energy.
