Challenge
Immediate need for a new stable IT partner for software operations
VIEW Group needed a new IT partner for hosting and management of their software, including ASP and other data-related challenges they faced. They were forced to implement a new and stable system immediately, so prompt handling and efficient delivery were essential in the provision.
Solution
Rapid migration with Hyper-V virtualisation and secure solutions
Consultants from Nordlo quickly outlined a server platform based on Hyper-V virtualization, collaboration services in Office 365 and a secure firewall solution with an accompanying VPN. The proposal was developed together with the client, and a rapid migration process was initiated to transition VIEW Group to the new solution.
Feedback from the business developer at View Group, Steinar Wehus, is that the collaboration regarding the integration worked "tip top", and that the employees are providing positive feedback after the transition to Nordlo.
Wehus also says that during the needs assessment phase, they felt understood, and that the execution went as planned. There will always be some bumps in the road during rapid processes, but Nordlo's consultants clarified, identified, and solved the issues quickly along the way.
