SIGI Europe sought a proactive IT partner who could support the company's digital transformation and contribute to ongoing growth as a global industrial technology supplier. With operations in the USA, Europe, and Asia, they needed a partner with the capacity to deliver services beyond Sweden's borders, which led to the choice of Nordlo for a comprehensive solution.

A proactive partner that can support the company's digital transformation and contribute to its continued growth was what the global industrial technology provider SIGI Europe was looking for in an IT supplier. That Nordlo could deliver its services even beyond Sweden's borders has been important from the start, as SIGI has sales offices in France, Germany, England, and a corporate management team in the USA with whom they also collaborate.
There is a lot happening in cybersecurity and compliance right now, which for SIGI means a significant investment in the implementation of the cybersecurity regulations NIST, equivalent to the more well-known ISO 27000 in Europe. The implementation of NIST is also a crucial part of coordinating security efforts in a global corporation.
The partnership between Nordlo and SIGI Europe has been established for a long time, having begun back in 1999, with a brief pause during the pandemic years, and Nordlo has since delivered the entire company's IT, including hosting, service desk, and cloud. With the help of a dedicated customer team, Nordlo and SIGI Europe have achieved a proactive partnership characterised by strategic advice and close collaboration.
“The close partnership has made things easier for us. We are a natural part of the work and achieve a more efficient and smart collaboration, both with Nordlo and internally,” says Leif Karlsson, IT manager at SIGI Europe.
“The implementation works fantastically well. I have been involved in moving to different IT environments a number of times. But with Nordlo, it felt incredibly good. They have a very good team that works well with our team here,” says Pär Martinsson, General Manager at SIGI Europe.
"The implementation of NIST is the most important project of the coming year. We have started the project in the USA, then we will tackle Europe next year and Asia the year after that. Of course, Nordlo will be there to support," says Leif Karlsson.
I have been involved in moving to different IT environments several times. But with Nordlo, it felt incredibly good. They have a very good team that works well with our team here.
The collaboration between Nordlo and SIGI Europe has been going well from the start, with daily operations running smoothly and the compliance project underway. Nordlo also ensures to work productively on the development, improvement and optimisation of SIGI's IT environment.
"Nordlo comes with ideas and suggestions for the future. A lot is happening in the Microsoft world, for example, with systems and tools in constant development. Nordlo helps us to see what opportunities we have, how we can work with the tools and benefit from them," says Leif Karlsson.
"The best thing for me about the collaboration with Nordlo, apart from security, experience and proactivity, is that everything just works. Otherwise, I get so involved in problems. I hear very little about IT issues today," concludes Pär Martinsson.
