The new concept for modern workplaces needed to meet higher expectations – the technology simply had to work. FirstOffice's customers should have a seamless experience, whether they are connecting their computer or presenting to guests in the meeting room.

With its 65 facilities, FirstOffice is the largest in Sweden within the serviced office sector. The organisation has been decentralised, with each facility making its own interpretations of what a serviced office means, which has created the challenge of unifying the brand and developing an operation where IT works so well that the customer experience becomes optimal.
FirstOffice wanted to make a collective effort to gather what works and build upon it, but this presented many challenges. Among other things, creating flexible IT that suits the companies that rent space – often small businesses with large technical needs and requirements where IT must function both now and in the future.
The various facilities around Sweden all had different standards and equipment after operating in their own way for ten years, which was a significant challenge to manage.
Nordlo helped FirstOffice to identify what could be reused and what needed to be replaced, in order to gradually implement changes within networks, firewalls, operations, meeting rooms and communication. The focus was always on creating such a high standard that FirstOffice could deliver a really good experience for the tenants, whether they were small one-person firms or larger companies with significant technical requirements.
The project began with discussions on what was needed in the technical environment to reach the level FirstOffice wanted to deliver, before the actual technology rollout started. The delivery includes wireless networking and all IT services, such as ensuring local alarms and locking systems function, while Nordlo made it easy for tenants to use the network, print without complicated installations, and ensured that the meeting room technology worked smoothly.
FirstOffice had high demands due to these complex solutions, but Nordlo had a solution-oriented approach that involved understanding that it was a tough challenge yet finding a way to resolve it. As FirstOffice's IT department, Nordlo truly assisted in the transformation the company underwent.
