After years as Cabin Crew in the aviation industry, Linn Ericsson started at Nordlo in 2013 and has been part of witnessing the company's growth into what we know today. As a buyer, she handles everything from hardware and software to broadband and webshop, but what impresses her the most is how a large company can still feel familiar. Here, she shares why Nordlo is the place for everyone who wants to develop.

Hello Linn! Tell us a bit about your role at Nordlo.
I work with purchasing. So all hardware and software that the salespeople order for our customers goes through my team. I handle the deliveries when they arrive at our warehouse and then channel them to a consultant if it is a task to be carried out. Furthermore, I ensure that our customer orders are invoiced. Since Nordlo in Karlshamn also offers broadband, I also take care of that.
What have you done or worked on before?
I have worked in the aviation industry as Cabin Crew, among other things. Since 2013, I have been working at what is now Nordlo, and I have developed a lot during that time.
What does a typical working day look like for you?
It is very varied. It ranges from meetings to being involved in creating and improving workflows and processes so that we can work in a better and more efficient way. I also administer our webshop, handle my department's cases in the case management system, and make orders and have contact with our distributors. In addition, I invoice, respond to customer inquiries, approve invoices, conduct inventories, and manage stock. Yes, as you can hear, it varies greatly depending on the day.
What is Nordlo like as a workplace?
I think Nordlo is a modern and flexible workplace. A workplace where there are plenty of opportunities for development. And even though it is a large company, it still feels familiar. Since everyone gets to have a say, employees feel a strong commitment, making it a joy to go to work and feel involved.

What challenges you in your everyday life, and what is the most developmental aspect of your work?
Since we work in IT, it is extremely broad and there is so much to learn. Technology is something that develops at an incredible speed. And if you want to keep up with even a little of everything that is happening, you have to try to stay on your toes. It is both a challenge and something that I find developmental and exciting.
What advice can you give to someone who wants to work at Nordlo?
If you are looking for a job where you can develop, you should definitely start working at Nordlo. It is a very eventful workplace, and there is always room for skilled and ambitious employees.
