Einar Mogen started working as a senior full stack developer at Nordlo Bergen in the autumn of 2011. There, he works, together with his team, on the development and maintenance of software for our SMB segment, that is to say customers with up to around 500 employees, both in Bergen and the rest of Norway.
As a full-stack developer at Nordlo, you often work with several clients simultaneously, each with very different challenges and problems. For Einar, the varying tasks are an opportunity to develop personally and learn new things, and to thrive in his role it is important to view problem-solving as a fun and exciting aspect of everyday life.
"As a developer, you often find yourself in situations where the solution has not yet been created. It is definitely challenging, but that is also what makes my job so incredibly enjoyable. Especially when you do it together with colleagues. At Nordlo, we learn from each other," says Einar.
"One of the proudest moments in my career at Nordlo was the first time a system we had developed from scratch reached a million users. It was amazing." In addition to this, Einar believes that it is the everyday moments that matter. Fun events with colleagues or Eureka moments when you suddenly find the solution to something you have been working on for a while.
Moreover, there is a lot to look forward to. "Right now, we have several new clients coming in who want help updating their systems and workflows and developing entirely new platforms. Being involved from the start in such projects is always rewarding," concludes Einar.
