Nordlo has reduced emissions in its own operations by 14 percent while simultaneously strengthening its security efforts, according to the company’s 2025 sustainability report.
“Last year we set the direction, now we are starting to deliver on our targets,” says Evelina Pallin, Sustainability Manager at Nordlo.

During 2025, Nordlo has taken several concrete steps across its sustainability focus areas. The company’s climate targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and emissions from its own operations (Scope 1 and 2) have decreased by 14 percent.
“Having our climate targets validated is an important milestone. It shows that our ambitions are robust and that we are working in a structured way to reduce our climate impact.”
The largest share of Nordlo’s climate footprint is linked to the procurement and use of IT equipment.
“Going forward, efforts will therefore focus on increasing reuse through lifecycle management services, extending the lifespan of hardware, and making more sustainable choices in the procurement process.”
At the same time, Nordlo has strengthened its security efforts in response to rising cyber threats. Internal security awareness increased from 59 to 73 out of 100 during the year.
“As an IT partner, we have a responsibility to build a security culture that strengthens both our own and our customers’ awareness and resilience.”
Employee engagement is another area showing positive development. The employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) has increased from 29 to 42, and a new KPI indicates a high level of psychological safety within the organisation.
Sustainability is also becoming increasingly integrated with Nordlo’s business. During the year, the company secured sustainability-linked financing, where the achievement of sustainability targets contributes to lower financing costs.
“We see that sustainability and business go hand in hand. When we develop our sustainability efforts, we also strengthen both our own and our customers’ competitiveness, and thereby long-term profitability,” says Evelina Pallin.
Looking ahead, the focus will be on implementing the company’s climate transition plan, continuing to strengthen efforts to increase diversity and foster an inclusive culture, and further developing offerings within secure and efficient IT.
