Låsteam was founded in 2000 with the ambition to offer companies and private individuals integrated security solutions. Today, the company is a full-scale security company that delivers complete and customised security systems to customers in most industries throughout Sweden. After using the same IT provider for several years, Låsteam was looking for a new IT partner that could offer a more future-proof and efficient operating solution. Their business requires stable and secure IT operations as they both manage in-store sales and monitor security solutions for customers, with staff on standby around the clock.

“We needed a new partner to take our IT environment to the next level, and Nordlo fulfils all our needs. Their hybrid solution makes the infrastructure scalable in a completely different way, while making our IT environment both simpler and more secure for employees,” says Anders Davidsson, IT Manager at Låsteam.

We needed a new partner to take our IT environment to the next level, and Nordlo fulfils all our needs.

From traditional data centre to cloud-based Azure solution

Låsteam was looking for an IT solution that would not only improve their current infrastructure but also ensure that they could meet future demands for scalability, flexibility and security. The solution needed to support both office and remote working, offer high security and redundancy, and be easy to scale up when needed.

Nordlo proposed migrating Lock Team's operations from a traditional data centre to a cloud-based Azure solution from Microsoft. This hybrid solution, which combines a physical data centre with cloud services in Azure, gave Låsteam several technological advantages. Using VPN tunnels ensured that all offices and stores, as well as employees working from home, had secure and stable access to the IT environment.

Nordlo also delivers powerful DDoS protection and redundancy in a Microsoft environment with multiple data centres and backups – a level of security that few other providers can match. In addition to the migration project, Nordlo also delivers comprehensive IT support, and is responsible for the delivery and backup of their Microsoft 365 environments, including OneDrive and mail client, firewalls and internet delivery.

“Nordlo has an office across the street from us in Borås, while being a group with a presence all over Sweden and both competences and resources in all areas. That combination of proximity and expertise is valuable to us,” says Anders Davidsson, IT Manager at Låsteam.

A stable and future-proof infrastructure

Thanks to this upgrade and modernisation, Låsteam now has a stable and future-proof IT infrastructure. Their business can continue without interruption, which is crucial for their customers and the security services they offer. The company now has a secure and reliable IT environment with robust backup and protection. The new solution has reduced the risk of future incidents and has allowed Låsteam to better adapt to future technological developments and requirements.

“We are not only a supplier, but also a proactive partner that constantly looks ahead and evaluates how the customer's IT environment can be further developed to streamline the core business. We will have regular meetings both to plan for the future and to evaluate the environment and receive regular feedback from Låsteam,” says Johan Nolén, Key Account Manager at Nordlo Borås.
