Norgesplaster has a modern factory located in Vennesla where stable and responsive IT systems are very important, with a stable network to ensure access to all systems. The production staff works shifts, and this requires stable operation around the clock, while the company wants its employees to be independent IT users with a high level of confidence in using the available tools.
The company has 58 employees, the majority of whom work at the premises in Vennesla, and about 45 of the employees are daily users of IT solutions. Nordlo delivers network lines and network equipment to Norgesplaster and ensures stable operation of the network. The server solution with SQL is hosted in a forward-looking Azure solution, where Nordlo also handles firewall, security, Remote Desktop solutions, backup solutions, and client applications such as Microsoft 365.
To ensure network access even in cases where there might be line breaks, the solution is set up with a mobile backup solution for access to login.
As part of Norgesplaster's desire for independent users, weekly consultants from Nordlo visit the offices, allowing employees to ask the consultant face to face if there is anything they are curious about and lowering the threshold for contacting Nordlo's support desk.
In addition to IT solutions, Nordlo is also Norgesplaster's partner for telephone solutions where they manage the PABX central system and assist in their mobile business network to ensure good telephone availability and optimal calling loops.
