The delivery to Drevelin Ortopedi started in Bergen, and since then the business has grown from approximately 30 to over 100 employees. They are now established in several cities such as Skien, Haugesund, Kristiansand, and Bergen, and when Drevelin Ortopedi became a customer of Nordlo, they had several challenges with IT.
With a lot of patient information, it is important that they avoid downtime that could affect customers since loss of access to patient information will impact customers directly. They need a secure IT partner where everything works at all times, and Nordlo ensures that the data systems are fully operational with punctuality and expertise that provides great security.
Nordlo is a total supplier and provides the entire infrastructure solution, meaning they handle everything from IT and operations to meeting room solutions, telephony, hardware, PCs, monitors, and all the equipment needed. Nordlo acts as the client's external IT department and has been involved in the planning of infrastructure and operational solutions, procurement, and during the expansion of systems and solutions.

Nordlo participates in many critical processes around purchasing and development with cost analyses and risk assessments together with the client, acting as a digitalisation partner to assist in implementing new digital solutions where possible.
Technology is advancing, so Nordlo often looks at what technology is available and provides advice on implementation, procurement, and costs. A typical challenge is that many make poor investments that become costly later, which is important to avoid.
"In 2008, the security requirements were not the same as they are today. Nordlo is also future-oriented and has really done a great job in providing us with good security with well-functioning systems. It is a comfort to know that you have people you can trust," says Christensen.

Having all IT services gathered in one place is, according to Christensen, an advantage, and when other providers have tried to take over, he stands firm with Nordlo. Having everything combined with one provider is best because they become well acquainted and it is an advantage to know who to relate to.
"They have skilled people and are good at follow-up. We are highly prioritised and well taken care of. We notice that they are good at relationship building and have the customer in focus. There is good dialogue and communication when challenges arise. We have had a lot of focus on security, and Nordlo has helped us with that," says Christensen.
They receive quick responses, and Nordlo has both control and expertise, with assistance for everything from operations and cooling, security and quality, to development and procurement.
Drevelin Ortopedi AS is Norway's oldest orthopaedic workshop since 1859. They are a total supplier of orthopaedic aids and consist of specialists in various fields within orthopaedics, including orthopaedic engineers, orthopaedic technicians, and occupational therapists. They are also specialised in orthoses for children and collaborate closely with the teams surrounding the children in the various departments at the hospital and in the municipality.
