From local server environment to scalable outsourcing solution
Bergab, with offices in Gothenburg and Stockholm, had for several years managed a local server environment with its own staff. When the time was right, a decision was made to review what type of solution was right for Bergab regarding infrastructure and server environment, with the goal of creating a new environment focused on scalability, operational reliability, and significant accountability from the new IT partner.

Complete migration to data centre with minimal disruption
Nordlo's idea of a complete outsourcing solution for the server environment aligned well with Bergab's requirements for scalability and reliability. With new fibre connections from Nordlo, a complete migration of all server roles from Bergab to Nordlo's data centre was made possible, where the project was set up with the goal of minimal disruption for Bergab's employees. The key to success was the close collaboration between Nordlo's consultants and Jörgen Nilsson, IT Manager at Bergab.
Nordlo is now responsible for the central Bergab systems in its data centre and enables secure access for employees working from home, while also assisting Bergab with all licensing, development support, and any support needs regarding modern work tools.
