Nordlo increases sales by 15 per cent in 2024 and improves profitability. According to Nordlo, Swedish companies are looking for a reliable IT partner despite the recession and turmoil in the global economy.
- The high growth rate continues, largely thanks to an operational model in which Nordlo works actively to understand the customer's business. ‘Our decentralised structure differs from other players in the industry,’ says Fredrik Almén, CEO of Nordlo.
Since 2023, Sweden has been in a recession, and according to TechSverige's report ‘Svenska techbranschen 2024’, the tech industry has experienced reduced employment and an increased number of redundancies. Despite this, the IT group Nordlo is increasing its turnover in 2024, from SEK 2.1 to 2.4 billion.
- We are increasing the number of customers and have won several major public procurement contracts. During the year, Nordlo also completed five acquisitions of established and profitable local IT companies whose business model and working methods are well suited to Nordlo.
Since Nordlo was formed in 2018, sales have tripled while maintaining profitability.
- Nordlo differs from other players in the industry, with entrepreneurial local units with a high degree of autonomy that operate independently. They are backed by a central organisation that provides group-wide expertise, processes for skills transfer and collaboration, and a common brand.
- Together with our operational model of taking overall responsibility for the customer's IT, this gives us a better understanding of their business and we can work in close collaboration.
The Group has operations in Sweden and Norway, with Norway currently accounting for around 15 per cent of sales. The goal is to reach billion-dollar sales in Norway within three years through acquisitions and annual organic growth of 10-15 per cent.
- Nordlo will continue to grow through acquisitions and to focus on its core areas of cloud services, infrastructure and cybersecurity,’ says Fredrik Almén, CEO of Nordlo.
