Nordlo takes a comprehensive approach to Hushållningssällskapet's cloud environment
After seven years of successful collaboration with Hushållningssällskapet in Jönköping Husqvarna, Nordlo deepens its commitment by assuming overall responsibility for the organization's shared cloud environment. Nordlo will also deliver Workplace as a Service (WaaS), Single Point of Contact (SPOC), and security solutions.
– Nordlo has helped us create a unified cloud environment and provides support to all employees within the organization. The next step is to establish a common digital workplace for the entire Hushållningssällskapet. I look forward to the collaboration and the journey we will embark on together," says Martin Svärd, National IT Coordinator at Hushållningssällskapet.
Founded on royal initiative in the 18th century to safeguard Sweden's self-sufficiency, Hushållningssällskapet today consists of 15 independent entities spread across the country, working in advisory, education, and research within agriculture, forestry, and rural public services.
When the collaboration began, Nordlo provided clients and server operations to Hushållningssällskapet in Jönköping Husqvarna. Since then, the need for better coordination and clearer direction has increased. The vision was a centralized and secure setup for the entire federation's IT with a supplier handling everything. The first step is now being taken as Nordlo is brought in as the supplier and support for the entire organization's cloud environment, Workplace as a Service, and security solutions. The agreement is set for three years ahead and is based in Jönköping, but several parts of Nordlo may become involved in the delivery.
– Nordlo has a good reputation within our organization. We had long discussed having a common partner for our IT, and Nordlo offers a suitable arrangement with services that we need. Nordlo provides an interesting mix of flexibility and structure where everyone involved works in a structured and systematic manner with great responsiveness to our processes. A competent team, simply put, which is also present throughout the country and always close by," says Martin Svärd.
– Hushållningssällskapet is an exciting customer with great potential for development. With its socially significant activities, security and coordination are crucial. We look forward to collaboratively building a future-proof and stable IT environment while contributing to a better society. Now the work continues to coordinate Hushållningssällskapet's IT and strengthen security centrally," says Magnus Abrahamsson, Account Manager in Jönköping.
