Gekås in Ullared is a rapidly growing tourist destination, which has developed since its inception in the 1960s into a full-scale tourist resort with shops, restaurants, and its own holiday village. Over time, the need for operations with constant availability had become increasingly critical, while the old server park in the company's own data centre needed to be renewed.

When it was time to renew the servers and SAN in their own data centre, Gekås contacted several suppliers, including Nordlo, to compare different solutions. The IT environment was complex and required the right expertise to find the best solution. There was also a need to build in more security in the data centre to avoid Single Point of Failure - that a part of the system could cause the entire operation to go down.

Nordlo's solution proved to be the best after a long comparison between different options and suppliers.
