Atteviks has been a forward-leaning player in the automotive and transport industry since 1945, but like many in the industry, they faced challenges with digitalisation efforts and complex IT needs. With three companies, unique business flows, and the ambition to stay at the forefront, they needed an IT partner that could understand both the complexity of the industry and their long-term digital vision.

Atteviks
The automotive industry's digital development is slow, with many lagging behind in digitisation efforts and few having managed to work with systems and data in a sensible way in service and sales environments. Atteviks consists of three companies with unique needs and numerous processes that need to function, creating a complex environment to work in while they also want to stand out and stay ahead of their competitors.
Nordlo has been Atteviks' IT provider since 2001, where the long-term and close collaboration has fostered both customer insight and knowledge about the automotive and transport industry.
Atteviks consists of three companies with unique needs and many processes that must function. It is a complex environment to work in. Nordlo has been good at delivering and meeting the needs.
Today, Nordlo Attevik's IT department, SPOC, provides support and workplace services that deliver infrastructure and operations in Nordlo's own data centres as well as in public cloud. Nordlo has managed the project from implementation to ongoing delivery of support and a modern workplace for all employees, while ensuring that the setup is correct with information classification so that Attevik can fully utilise the power of the cloud and gain significant competitive advantages over other companies in the industry.
A good example of the strategic partnership is the workshop application that Nordlo has developed together with Atteviks. The app, which connects to Volkswagen's systems, is used by mechanics in the workshops to register jobs, make notes, take photos, film and create digital work orders, while also helping service advisors to communicate the technicians' work more easily and ensure they are paid correctly for their work.
Since the partnership began in 2001, Nordlo has evolved from being a complete IT provider to also being a strategic partner that contributes to the customer's digital business development. The collaboration started with Nordlo's service offering Workplace as a Service, which means delivering computers, account management, support and operations that are both flexible and cost-effective, as Atteviks does not need to have a lot of computers when Nordlo manages everything and ensures it works.
It is a complex environment to work in. Nordlo has been good at delivering and meeting the needs.
The close collaboration has resulted in Atteviks being able to streamline its working methods and simplify all administration, among other things by automating the onboarding and offboarding of employees. The result of the workshop application is more efficient work processes, better structure, simpler administration, and strengthened trust in Atteviks.
Nordlo has a future-oriented mindset and is a clear and proactive partner where the close collaboration with continuous check-ins, responsive teams, and an unpretentious attitude creates security and trust in the expertise.
Working actively with sustainability is important for both Atteviks and Nordlo, and for Atteviks to be a sustainable player in the future vehicle market, the sustainability perspective must permeate the entire business including digitalisation efforts. Nordlo ensures that Atteviks' IT solutions contribute to the sustainability work, among other things through reduced paper usage, fewer transports, and a simpler everyday life for all employees.
Atteviks chooses suppliers that share the same values regarding sustainability, which contributed to Atteviks nominating Nordlo for Jönköping County's Climate Prize 2020 for its strategic work towards a more sustainable operation.
Nordlo and Atteviks have worked together for a simpler everyday life since 2001, and the work continues. The constant goal is to continue to streamline and simplify for everyone working at Atteviks and to involve all employees in the journey, as it is crucial to have employees on board to help them embrace and see the opportunities with all IT initiatives. If one fails to do this, one has not digitalised at all, merely spent money on tools that are not used – employees must want to use features and improve their processes for things to happen.
Atteviks has been operating in the automotive industry since 1945 and currently sells passenger cars, trucks, and transport vehicles. Together, they consist of three companies – Atteviks Group AB, Atteviks bil AB, and Atteviks lastbil AB – with 450 employees spread across eight locations in Småland. The goal is to be close to the customer and offer high service in the workshops.
With close collaboration and a strong focus on business insight, we have created many long-term and successful customer relationships across several industries.
