Sundsvall-based company N62 IT Solutions acquired by IT group Nordlo, which is growing in northern Sweden

With the acquisition of N62, Nordlo now has a local presence in seven locations in southern Norrland – Gävle, Bollnäs, Örnsköldsvik, Söderhamn, Östersund, Sundsvall and Hudiksvall. N62 is based in Sundsvall and also has an office in Hudiksvall. The company has grown by approximately 20 per cent annually since its inception in 2009.

“We have long wanted to establish ourselves in Sundsvall, which is an exciting region with a strong IT labour market and companies that are accustomed to purchasing IT services. Our customers are looking for an IT partner who will lead them forward and take overall responsibility, and who values a close relationship.”

N62 offers operation and support of IT infrastructure services. The company works primarily with small and medium-sized companies, including a number of health centres, but also has larger customers such as the Church of Sweden and Autoexperten.

“We are more of an IT department than a supplier. We often tailor solutions for our customers and work extensively with open source, which means cost-effective solutions that are also the best for the customer,” says Thomas Nordin, CEO of N62 IT Solutions.

Since its inception, N62 has grown by more than 20 per cent annually and today the company has a turnover of just under 40 million. This growth has come naturally through good recommendations and expanded assignments.

“Growth comes from doing a good job. With Nordlo, we now have greater geographical coverage and access to new skills, while continuing to work as we do today with the customer in focus.”

Nordlo's goal is to grow throughout Sweden, through acquisitions and organic growth. In recent years, Nordlo has grown with several offices in the Norrland region. In 2021, the company acquired Acon in Lycksele and Umeå, started another office in Umeå in 2022 and, in the same year, acquired Interlan in Gävle.

“All units have a high degree of autonomy and continue to run the business as they know works, while also having access to Nordlo's collective expertise. We now have a better presence throughout southern Norrland, but Nordlo's growth journey is by no means over,” says Anders Strömsten, Business Area Manager at Nordlo.
