The IT services group Nordlo is launching a new tool that provides organisations with a clear, visual overview of their IT security in real time.
“We want to make cyber security measurable, understandable and actionable,” says Magnus Blomberg, CTO at Nordlo.

Sweden’s national cyber security strategy for 2025–2029 highlights increasing threats, stricter requirements and the need to strengthen digital resilience.
“Many organisations, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, have limited resources and capabilities to meet growing security demands and threats. They also lack a clear overview of their actual security posture – one that can be easily understood across the entire organisation.”
As part of this initiative, Nordlo is also introducing a shared minimum level of security, Security Baseline, for all customers. It will be integrated into the company’s existing cyber security offering and includes, among other things, technical baseline protection, security configurations, policies and employee training.
“Our method for identifying, visualising and monitoring security gaps provides management teams and boards with unique transparency. Through an intuitive interface, customers can see in real time which parameters are fulfilled and receive concrete recommendations for action.”
The background is an increasingly complex threat landscape, growing regulatory requirements through initiatives such as the EU’s cyber security directive NIS2 and the DORA regulation, as well as a national ambition to strengthen resilience in both the public and private sectors.
“Cyber security is now a strategic management issue. For IT leaders, the tool provides a clear basis for justifying investments and demonstrating the impact of implemented measures,” says Magnus Blomberg, CTO at Nordlo.
Security Baseline will be rolled out in Sweden and Norway following completed pilot programmes, with the aim of full implementation by the turn of 2027.
