Corem owns, manages and develops commercial properties. The company is now extending its collaboration with IT supplier Nordlo in a multi-year agreement. Nordlo is responsible for a fully outsourced IT environment, including IT security, digital workplace, infrastructure and operations, and cloud services.
In recent years, IT security has become an increasingly important issue for Corem. Together with Nordlo, the company has built a secure and modern infrastructure that is also reliable. This is another important factor for a listed company such as Corem.
“Cyber security and operational reliability are our two most important areas. We feel secure with Nordlo as our partner, with its highly skilled employees and comprehensive responsibility.”
Corem and Nordlo also place great importance on training staff to deal with threats such as phishing and intrusion attempts on an ongoing basis. An incident management plan is also in place, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
“We are a decentralised organisation with properties and employees across the country, as well as tenants as customers. This requires both the right IT architecture and the expertise to handle any incidents. As CIO, I feel confident about how we manage IT security today,” says Jeppe Calom, CIO at Corem.
Looking ahead, Jeppe and Corem are looking at AI as an important enabler for increased efficiency and shorter lead times in the business. In collaboration with Nordlo, they are developing internal solutions where AI is used to automate tasks, integrate systems and streamline decision support.
“Corem has a streamlined internal IT organisation, which places high demands on us as a partner. Nordlo's role will be both operational and strategic, working closely together to develop their organisation and meet their IT requirements,” says Johan Bark, CEO of Nordlo in Nyköping.
