Deliveries to Drevelin Ortopedi AS commenced in Bergen in 2008. Since then, the company has expanded its workforce from approximately 30 to over 100 employees. They are now established in several cities, including Skien, Haugesund, Kristiansand, and Bergen. CEO Petter Christensen expresses his satisfaction with Nordlo.
“They have skilled personnel and are adept at follow-up. We are highly prioritised and well looked after. We have observed their proficiency in building relationships and prioritising customer needs. When Drevelin Ortopedi became a Nordlo customer, they encountered several IT challenges. Upon the appointment of a new finance manager, addressing these challenges with a new IT supplier became their primary focus.
“With a wealth of patient information, it's imperative that we avoid any downtime that could impact our customers. Losing access to patient information would have severe repercussions. Hence, we require a secure IT partner. It's crucial for us that everything operates seamlessly. Nordlo ensures the smooth functioning of our computer systems. I receive prompt responses, and they exhibit both control and expertise. Nordlo assists us with everything from operations, safety, and quality to development and procurement. For instance, we evaluate solutions that safeguard security and patient information.
“In 2008, security requirements were not as stringent as they are today. Nordlo is forward-thinking and has done an exceptional job in providing us with robust security and well-functioning systems. It's reassuring to know that we have a trustworthy partner,” concludes Christensen.
The Customer's External IT Department
Rune Trædal, Sales Manager at Nordlo Bergen, highlights their involvement in infrastructure planning, operating solutions, procurement, and system expansion for Drevelin Ortopedi.
“We have been part of the customer's journey from being a relatively small player in the market to becoming a significant player. Thus, we have been involved in the relocation process and the construction of new offices.
“We serve as an all-encompassing supplier, delivering comprehensive infrastructure solutions. From IT and operations to meeting rooms, phones, hardware, PCs, monitors, and all necessary equipment, we function as the customer's external IT department,” says Trædal.
Nordlo actively participates in crucial processes related to purchasing and development, conducting cost analyses and risk assessments alongside the customer.

Today, Drevelin Ortopedi boasts a server park and receives valuable assistance from Nordlo in assessing purchases and risks.
“We have assessed the need for internal and industry-specific programmes and explored the available platforms and solutions. We provide guidance on the consequences of different choices and highlight the potential pathways with different solutions.
“As technology advances, we frequently assess availability and offer advice on implementation, procurement, and costs. A common challenge is making costly investments due to incorrect decisions. It's imperative to avoid such pitfalls.
“We serve as digitalisation partners for Drevelin, aiding in the implementation of new digital solutions wherever feasible. We will continue to closely collaborate on their digitalisation journey,” concludes Trædal.
