Atteviks strengthens
competitiveness with a forward-thinking
and innovative
IT partnership
Nordlo has been Atteviks' IT supplier since 2001. The partnership has been long-term and close, which has given Nordlo both customer insight and expertise in the automotive and transport industries. "Atteviks consists of three companies with unique needs and many flows that have to work. It's a complex environment to work in. Nordlo knows how to deliver to meet our needs." says Jimi Wester, IT Manager at Atteviks.
A forward-thinking and innovative IT partnership
The automotive industry's digital development is slow. Many are lagging behind in digitalisation efforts and few have started working with systems and data in a sensible way in service and sales environments. But Atteviks stands out. "They are far ahead compared to others. Definitely one of the most forward-thinking and digitalised retailers in the industry. In addition, we have good cooperation throughout the Atteviks organisation, from the CEO to those who use the applications in everyday life." says Martin Gårdenheim, Account Manager at Nordlo
“It's a complex environment to work in. Nordlo knows how to deliver to meet our needs.”
An overall solution for Atteviks' IT
Today, Nordlo is Attevik's IT department, SPOC, support and workplace provider. We deliver infrastructure and operations in Nordlo's own data centres and in the public cloud. Nordlo has managed the project from implementation to ongoing delivery of support and a modern workplace for all employees. We ensure that the set-up is correct with information classification so that Atteviks can fully utilise the power of the cloud, which gives them major competitive advantages over other companies in the automotive and transport industries.
A good example of this is the workshop application developed by Nordlo in consultation with Jimi and the rest of the team at Atteviks. The app, which is linked to Volkswagen's system, is used by mechanics in the workshops to record jobs, make notes, take photos, film and create digital work orders. It also helps service advisors to more easily communicate technicians' work and ensure they are charging the right amount. The result is streamlined work processes, better structure, easier administration and increased trust in Atteviks.
Digital business development
Since the partnership began in 2001, Nordlo has gone from being a full-service IT provider to being a strategic partner that contributes to the customer's digital business development. The partnership began with Nordlo's Workplace as a Service offering, which involves the delivery of computers, account management, support and operation. "It's both flexible and cost-effective. We don't need to hoard lots of computers. Nordlo takes care of everything and makes sure it works."
The close collaboration has resulted in Atteviks being able to streamline their working methods and simplify all administration, for example by automating the onboarding and offboarding of employees. "Nordlo has a forward-looking approach and is a clear and ambitious partner. We have a very close working relationship with continuous dialogue. Our team there is responsive and unpretentious. I feel safe and trust their expertise." Jimi continues.

Sustainability as a pillar
Working actively with sustainability is important for both Atteviks and Nordlo. If Atteviks is to be a sustainable player in the automotive market of the future, the sustainability perspective must permeate the entire organisation. This naturally includes digitalisation work. Nordlo ensures that Atteviks' IT solutions contribute to sustainability efforts by, for example, reducing the use of paper, minimising transport and making everyday life easier for all employees.
Atteviks chooses suppliers who share its sustainability values, which also contributed to Atteviks nominating Nordlo for the Jönköping County Climate Award 2020 for its strategic work to make its operations more sustainable.
Vision for the future
Nordlo and Atteviks have been working together to make everyday life easier since 2001, and the work continues. The ongoing goal is to continue to streamline and simplify for everyone who works at Atteviks - and to get all employees on board. "It is crucial to have the employees on board. We need to help them embrace and see the possibilities of all IT initiatives. If we don't succeed, I haven't digitised at all, just spent money on tools that are not used. They have to want to use functions and improve their processes themselves. Then things will happen!" Jimi concludes.
