”My experiences in different roles in the company have given me a breadth of knowledge that helps me to understand the big picture, enabling me to customise IT security solutions for our customers”
I’ve been working in the IT industry for nearly ten years and have experience from a number of different roles, including Technical Account Manager (TAM).
I’ve always had a strong interest in IT security, and my role is now more specialised, as I focus almost exclusively on how I can support our customers and our organisation in the areas of both technical and organisational IT security.
Areas of expertise
My experiences in different roles in the company have given me a breadth of knowledge that helps me to understand the big picture, enabling me to customise IT security solutions for our customers.
When we completed our ISO 27001 certification in Information Security, I was the primary resource driving the process, and I’m now maintaining this work together with my colleague Jenny.
At present I’m working as CISO at Nordlo, and my primary tasks are to maintain our ISO 27001 certification in Information Security and pursue continuous Improvements. It can involve monitoring, security tests, product development and keeping the documentation updated.
A business with a good level of information security starts by mapping the current status. I support our customers in this respect by continuously measuring and evaluating their own IT security, and developing solutions and tools to improve the whole organisation’s security initiatives. It often involves customer-specific solutions to meet the business’s needs.
