Sales manager in IT, Nordlo in Malmö & Helsingborg
”The thing that drew me to Nordlo was the structure of the organisation – enabling synergy by working in a large group while also operating on a local basis in our offices, in close proximity to the customer. I believe this is the formula for Nordlo’s success!"
Tell us about your role at Nordlo:
I work as Sales Manager at Nordlo in Malmö and Helsingborg. My role includes supporting our sales representatives in their work, monitoring the market and working directly with our customers. Nordlo in Helsingborg is still a new IT company on the market, which is why we’re currently primarily focused on substantially expanding our sales activities – a goal I’m convinced I can help us to achieve.
I really believe that Nordlo has considerable potential in Skåne. Not only are there a lot of possibilities in the region, we have a really great team supporting the offices in Malmö and Helsingborg.
What have you done or worked with before?
I've been working in IT since 1984, and have qualifications and a background within technology, sales and marketing. I began life in the industry as an IT consultant and have since held the posts of KAM (Key Account Manager), sales manager and marketing manager. I have extensive experience in managerial positions and have worked at companies like Merkantildata, Avansys, Cygate and Alliero, working most recently as sales manager at IT-Gården, which was acquired by Iver a short time ago. With my background and experience, I’m now looking forward to helping Nordlo in Malmö and Helsingborg to expand and become firmly established on the market.
What makes Nordlo an attractive employer?
The thing that drew me to Nordlo was the structure of the organisation – enabling synergy by working in a large group while also operating on a local basis in our offices, in close proximity to the customer. I believe this is the formula for Nordlo’s success.
We also provide multiple services that stand out on the market, and Nordlo in the Skåne region works a lot with AV solutions, among others, which makes us unique in the area.
What is the top priority on your agenda at right now?
Being new at the company, the main thing for me is to get to know my colleagues and find out where our expertise lies. I also want to focus on and get acquainted with our customers, and their needs and expectations. At the office, I’d say our priority has been helping our customers to convert to teleworking practices.
What challenges do you think the industry will face in future?
I think we need to work increasingly with hybrid cloud solutions in the industry. As their partner, we have a responsibility to help our customers to know where IT solutions should be based, and guide them in the right direction. As I see it, if your company isn’t committed to moving over to hybrid solutions you run the risk of disappearing from the market.
Tell us a little about yourself
I’m from Gothenburg originally but have lived in Helsingborg since 1994. I’m really into sport and fitness, and used to play for the national field hockey team. These days I play tennis mainly, and a bit of padel. We actually recently held a padel tournament at Nordlo in Helsingborg. Normally when you’re new at a company you want to keep a low profile, but I just couldn’t manage it and ended up winning the whole thing! We’ve been talking about challenging the other Nordlo offices in future, which I’m really looking forward to. Aside from that, in my free time I’m interested in music and play guitar in a rock band called Zigges.
At Nordlo we constantly look for people with IT competence and a passion for sustainable change, where our innovation shape the future within IT and digitisation. Even if we are not looking for a specific role at this very moment, we are always keen to hear from you who wishes to work with us. Please feel free to send us your application here.
