Tell me about your job at Nordlo:
Among other things, I work with technology strategies, service development, sales and business management at Nordlo Improve. I'm also responsible for Delivery Hub for Nordlo, where we work on general development and coordinate deliveries within the Group.

I've worked in many different sections during my 20+ years in the company. I began at what is now Nordlo Improve, and worked with technology and support mainly for our biggest customer in Trollhättan, Saab/General Motors. It was an incredibly instructive period and I got to work in many different fields of technology and in truly critical environments. The technical focus was initially on Unix and Oracle, and at the same time I developed a few different tools for administration, support and monitoring, mainly to streamline our own operation. Pretty soon, I was also working with systems architecture and sales support, and for a while I also got to act as project manager for the customer. The past 15 years have mostly focused on business deals, business development and service development – preferably in the combination finance and technology – and how we can best develop new and existing customers.

What does a normal working day look like for you? What kind of challenges do you come across in a working day?
It's a little difficult to say as they vary such a lot. It's almost impossible to describe a normal day at work! At certain times I do a lot of customer cases. This might mean a procurement or a business opportunity that demands a great deal of focus and energy; at other times I can be a little more proactive working with service development, pricing and getting involved in our ongoing streamlining efforts for our biggest customers. In general, we can say there are not enough hours in the day to cover everything we want to do…

What's Nordlo like as a workplace?
I love Nordlo as a workplace. My colleagues are wonderful, there are great opportunities to develop and on the whole, we enjoy excellent relationships with our customers. We have a personal, relaxed culture where soft values are tremendously important both inside the company and in relationships with our customers.

What’s the most challenging thing about Nordlo? What kind of challenges do you come across in a working day?
Development is what motivates me, whether it concerns customers, working methods or myself, and I get real opportunities to do that here. We focus keenly on the customer, for whom we soon understand our importance and that we're not merely a cog in a huge machine, and this is both stimulating and challenging.

There is also a great variety of fields to work in, and in general everything is very unpretentious, which means the things we get to work with and how quickly we want to develop depend more on the individual than his or her position.

What advice would you give someone who wants to work at Nordlo?
Take a look at our website. You'll find contact details to your nearest office and there's also information about different services. Don't hesitate for one second, you won't regret it!
