I used to work in other service occupations and sales, and I wanted to try my hand at something new, and I thought that IT is always a good option and is growing bigger and bigger with every passing day. I’m now working as a First-Line support technician/team leader for the First-Line function.
A normal working day for me involves responding to support calls and emails from customers, and in most cases I resolve the problems that have arisen straight away. Otherwise I escalate them to other consultants.
Nordlo is a really stable and developmental workplace. You can be involved and contribute to decisions, and you don’t need to be afraid of having your say. Everyone’s voice is heard, and you feel important in day-to-day work. At Nordlo, we’re good at collaborating between the different offices, and there’s lots of good knowledge from different resources. If we come across a problem, we can always get in touch with colleagues at another location. As a unit, we’re extremely strong.
As a support technician, every day you get new kinds of cases, and no two days are the same. You learn something new every day. The most rewarding aspect of my role is always being involved in developing our First-Line function and being involved in work going forward.
